AT&T Stores to Sell Amazon’s Kindle E-Reader

AT&T Inc will begin offering Amazon.com Inc.’s Kindle electronic reader in its 2,200 stores next month, in an attempt to boost revenue by luring more customers to its network. As the exclusive provider of wireless service for the Kindle in the U.S., AT&T will offer the device beginning March 6 for $189, the same price charged by Amazon. Hacker Writes Trojan Horse For Apple’s Mac

As Apple’s popularity continues to increase, so too does the malicious interest of hackers in their famed products. Researchers at Sophos say they’ve uncovered a new Trojan horse program written for the Mac. It’s called the BlackHole RAT (the RAT part is for “remote access Trojan”) and it’s pretty easy to find online in hacking forums, according to Chet Wisniewski a researcher with antivirus vendor Sophos. JPMorgan Fund In Talks to Purchase A Stake in Twitter

A newly formed JPMorgan Chase & Co technology fund is in talks to buy a large stake in Internet messaging and communications site Twitter, the Financial Times reported on Sunday, citing sources familiar with the on-going discussions. According to the report, JPMorgan’s Digital Growth fund hopes to purchase 10 percent of Twitter for $450 million, valuing the company at $4.5 billion. The bank said in a regulatory filing on Friday that it had raised $1.22 billion for the Digital Growth...

Sprint on Thursday officially began taking pre-orders for the HTC Arrive, its first mobile device to offer Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 operating system. Apple today released a preview version of Mac OS X 10.7, also known as  Lion, to developers, who can download the new operating system from the Mac App Store. FTC Asks Judge To Shut Down Text Spammer

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has asked a judge to shutter an alleged text-messaging spam operation that sent out 85 text messages per minute at its peak, the agency said Wednesday. The alleged operation of Phillip A. Flora offered loan modification assistance, debt relief and other services, the FTC said in a news release.
